Editorial Approaches

Comments. Please contact us at [email protected] should you have a comment about our coverage. We want to hear from you. You can share your comment by email or ask to connect by phone.

Newsletter. We will publish an e-newsletter, which we will send to residents and community members who subscribe. We will also post a link to this on our social media channels. This newsletter will offer an archive link on top so you can check past newsletters (if you want).

Publishing Cycles. We will schedule how long we post website content. At this time, we plan to publish individual articles between one month and 2 years. We may want to publish some articles longer, including feature stories we think the community will enjoy.

Tell Us How Long You Want Us to Publish. If you allow us to interview you or you submit an event announcement, please let us know how long you would like us to publish. We want your input. If you are a business or organization and we agree to publish your press release, we will generally consider this news and use our discretion, unless you make a specific request.

Remove Your Name or an Article. If you have a concern about an article that mentions your name (or your business or organization), please let us know – even if you asked us to write a story. We are going to receive these requests without any questions, be supportive, try to accommodate you and move ahead.

We do ask you to consider our time and resources and that we prefer to keep coverage up for at least a month, as much as we can. But things come up and you can approach us, without having to explain.

Learning. We will make mistakes, factual and in our approach at times. When we make mistakes, we will apologize and will commit to learn.
